Colors Under Dusk

This is a 12×16 oil painting on stretched canvas offered with or without the authentic 19th century gold color wood frame

Boggy marshes have made themselves quite plentiful here in New England and they differ in color frame one state to the next. For example, Maine marsh grass has a blue-grey hue to it due to the mud that clings and dries on it during low tide. The marsh in this painting is from RI in the Little Compton area where the grasses are saturated with green and commingle with pastures and wooded areas.
